Traditional Italian Easter Feast

In Italy, Easter is a holiday typified by its ceremony, events, and its extravagant foods. In preparation for the holiday in Italy, women line up outside their local butcher shops to pick up fresh cuts of pork and carry them home in brown paper wrapped bundles. Home kitchens are strong with scents of garlic, roast peppers, pickled vegetables and fresh cut tomatoes for antipasto. Before we enjoy our antipasto and pork we will begin our feast with Scripelle in Brodo, a crepe soup with rich chicken broth and will finish our feast with authentic Easter Bread. After you join us for this fun filled afternoon, you will be proud to serve this meal to your friends and  family on Easter Sunday.
